It is being reported that Ken Shamrock has suffered a cut within the last 24 hours and that the commission has been alerted and they are checking on Shamrock’s cut to see if it would be too dangerous for him to compete against Slice.
There’s no word yet on where the cut is located but the report has been confirmed by Shamrock’s assistant.
If Shamrock cannot compete, EliteXC may turn to an undercard fight to use one of the fighters to replace Shamrock. Both Seth Petruzelli and Aaron Rosa have offered their services but the promotion is waiting on word from the commission.
